Saint Vincent DePaul Society
The Society of
Saint Vincent DePaul is a worldwide organization of Lay Catholic men and
women whose members meet in Parish and District Groups in order to help in a
personal way those in need. Be it sickness or disability, mental or
physical, family problems, the alcoholic, the drug addict, the grieving and
the alienated- these members are there to help. A regular meeting of perhaps
an hour’s duration occurs in which the “helping” contacts of each member are
reported and discussed. Weekly visiting is usually done in the company of
another member. Members contribute whatever they can afford - their own
share in financing the group. If you are interested in joining, please
contact Patrick and Jane Mooney at 410-208-4152.
