Activities - Prayer Groups

Charismatic Prayer Meeting

Group meets to grow in holiness through praise, prayer, song, reading scripture, teachings, sharing their faith, praying together for healing, and seeking and using the gifts of the Holy Spirit.  This group meets on Thursday mornings at 9:00 a.m. in the library.  All are welcome.  Contact Kay or John Hannigan at 410-208-6296 for more information.

Divine Mercy

This group meets to pray for the sick, dying and salvation of souls.  The prayers for the Three O'Clock Hour of Great Mercy, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, and the Stations of the Cross are held each Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. at the church. Come join us.

Lay Carmelite Community

Lay Catholic men and women who seek greater intimacy with God through the Sacraments, prayer, meditation, and contemplation are welcome to join this community. The daily spiritual routine of a Lay Carmelite includes morning and evening prayer from the Liturgy of the Hours and daily Mass. As a group, they celebrate the monthly Mass and Novena to Our Lady of Mount Carmel. They pray the Divine Office together, have short business sessions, and study Carmelite history and traditions. Membership in the Carmelite Community requires a period of formation. The symbol of membership in the Carmelite Community is the Ceremonial Brown Scapular.

They meet every 2nd Wednesday of each month from 6:00-8:30 p.m.  Anyone interested, please call Mark McLaughlin at 302-539-0717 or Pat Kratz at 410-641-7419.

Men's Ministry Prayer Group

Are you a Catholic Man who wants to pray more?  Are you a Parent who strives to set an example for your children?  Are you a husband who wants to keep the joy and spark in your relationship with your wife in the light of the gift of the Sacrament of Matrimony?  Would you like to share your Catholic Faith and understand more clearly the teachings of the Church?  The Men of our Parish meet on a weekly basis to pray, reflect and discern their vocations as men, husbands, fathers and grandfathers.  If you are interested in connecting more with your Catholic Faith and understanding the Eucharist and Sunday Scriptures, please join us on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m.  If interested, call the parish office.
