Attention Jr. High Students

Can you balance an egg on a light bulb? Or stack Chap Stick using only toothpicks? What about keeping three balloons off the ground for thirty seconds? Get ready for some Chaos at this year’s diocesan day for Jr. High.

National Catholic Youth Conference
November 17-19, 2011, Indianapolis

NCYC is an exciting, biennial three-day experience of prayer, community, and empowerment for Catholic teenagers and their adult chaperones. There are opportunities for prayer, worship and recreation with 20,000 youth sharing our faith.  Special activities include concerts, exhibits, and the interactive thematic park full of games, art, music and fun.

About the Youth Group Program

Our mission is to foster the growth of young people in their relationship with Jesus Christ and to draw young people to responsible participation in the life of the parish and local community.

Youth participate in Service Projects such as the Annual Easter Basket Project, Vacation Bible School, Nursing Home Visit, Work Camp, and Super Bowl Sub & Soup Sale Charity Fundraiser.

Spiritual & Social Activities include the Diocesan Youth Rally, National Catholic Youth Conference, Ski Trip, Passion Play, Movie Night/Lock-in, and Game Nights.

Educational opportunities exist through Leadership Team Training and Eucharistic Ministry Training, plus resources for Spiritual Development, Prayer and Worship, Pastoral Care, Social Justice, and Evangelization.
